People with disabilities can’t always express themselves verbally. They may have some condition that keeps them from communicating to others; but and art gives them a voice. They are happier when they go home after art class, and the family is very appreciative of that.
After implementing a successful pilot program at Wellington Community High School, we would like to expand the program to more classes, so we can take the benefits of arts education to a greater number of special needs students. With your help, we can continue this worthwhile program.
